Hi people,

Just looking on XLink Kai and there seems to be nothing on the DS or any news on the matter, I've just downloaded it and would like to play some Ridge Racer or Lumines with any of you guys if you can show me what its all about :) (Kai name: OllyC)

But on the DS front I see nothing, I remeber reading post's ages back on it, and some about issues with it and how it connections etc but if anyone can fill me in that'd be great.

Cheers Olly

Yea, I want to too, but I can't get my PSP to tunnel for a game of Meteos.

How are you getting that cart in your PSP? That would probably be your first problem.

:kekeke:

Tunneling would not be hard at all, you can do it with any VPN software on the market.

Well it looks as if my Dongle doesn't support the thing you need to get Kai working so no tunneling for me :(

Oh Wells, Best get cracking with some Mario Kart Online for now :)

See the bold? Those are two tastes that don't go together. Why not tunnel it on the system that it plays on?

Excuse in advance if I'm just being n00bish. I have Dial up after all.

Tunneling takes a game that was originally meant to be played over a local area network and allows you to play against people over the internet. The software intercepts the information that your game console sends out and reroutes it over the internet.

Tunneling is not possible with the ds because the system itself does not have a built-in TCP/IP stack. Every piece of software that is Nintendo Wifi compliant needs to have it's own network code to allow for connection over the internet. (I do not have a direct link to the source of this information, but I assure you that its correct) This is the reason you have a different friend code for every game.

Sorry I thought I'd be kinda obvious that I've also got the PSP and those two games I'd be able to play NOW through tunnel since thats available. The , in there meant theres no news on the DS but on a sidenote I've got the PSP and would like to play RR and Lumines..

n00bish slightly excused..
