Or is every New Astro's jamma connector is so tight?

Any way to lube it maybe?

Well....they are not meant to be un-plugged & plugged in & out all the time....they are tight for a reason....a loose connector would be unreliable,...lube is a no-no....if you want to make it a 'little' easier to remove...try PCB electrical cleaner.

Just mosey on down to your local electrical/electronics store...maplins/radio-shack/farnell...they have all the required electrical cleaning fluids/ air dusters / anti static sprays etc you could ever want!...;)

You could also take a Dremel or file to the inner edges of the Jamma Connector....

If it's not quite wide enough to accomadate all pcbs.

another thing thats great with the new egret 3s.. the jamma adapter tightens the more you push it in (wow that sounds like something else :eye: ), i have yet to find a PCB with a loose fit in that cab.. amazing, they thought of everything!

aloose jamma connector is bad news, itll kill your boards real quick, better keep it tight.

Just a thought for lubrication. Use dry graphite. It doesn't conduct electricity.

DONT lube it with ANYTHING. No Dry Graphite and no oils, NOTHING.

And graphite does conduct electricity even if lightly.

The JAMMA connector is tight in my Astro aswell, it' s good cause I know it will never fall off, it's more tight on my Neo than it is on my Atomiswave, must be thicker for the Neo.

Arnold says, "Don't be a weak gurly man" :lolz:

But yeah my New Astro City is pretty tight also. After awhile... removing it gets easier.

Yeah it's really tight on the Neo and CPS2, on AW it's just fine...
