I'd like some appraisals if possible.
there's 2 games I'd need info on (japanese prices/pictures, though on the whole irrelevant, would be nice).
can't find much info on Alex Kid PCB or Kick Man. and Robo Wrestling 2001 and Ninja Kids.

Wait you said two games but you listed four :conf: I own a full size Kick (earlier version of Kick Man). Basically the same game but with a different marquee and title screen. The actual cabinet itself doesn't go for much maybe $200 to $300 USD. I think it's an okay game but the game has it's cult following. It would be pretty hard to play without a cabinet since the image is reversed and projected onto a mirror. The trackball is also special since it only spins two way (left and right) as opposed to all directions. I imagine the boardsets wouldn't command much because of these factors and the fact that the complete game doesn't go for much either.

Alex Kid is a fun game similar to Wonder Boy. I actually liked these games because they both were like Adventure Island on the NES (Famicom). I don't know if the board would command much but I think it's definitely worth more than a throw away $20 USD board. If I didn't already have Wonder Boy, I would easily drop $50 for it. Someone offer me $100 for mine but you can't really use this price to gauge the value.

As for Ninja Kids and Robo Wrestling, I've played both of these games but other than that, I've never heard anyone asking for either game. I imagine neither of them are highly sought after so take what you can get for them.

thanks for the info!
you're right - I initially asked for appraisals of 2 games and then edited to add 2 more. silly of me I should have edited the post properly.

anyway not sure about what you're saying about kick man..:

thing is regionality - Robo Wrest 2001 in Japan has a usual pricetag of 200 dollars and probably much less anywhere else.
these appraisals are slightly skewed as I'm trying to get an idea of wether or not what I'll be paying for them is worth my time.

oh and I'm a long time fan of Alex Kid - first time I come across an arcade board though. you where offered 100 dollars for wonderboy? that's about what it tends to go for I think.

$1395 for a Kick/Kick-Man?!!?? Wow that's a lot. Honestly, the game is a good game but the last auction I went to, a good condition working one went for $75USD. Two of my friends both wanted it but both of their arcade/game room was full (one has 23 games and the other has about 25). I offered to let them borrow mine since mine was in storage for 7 years prior to me dusting it off and bringing it to California Extreme 2 years ago.

Yes someone offered me $100 for the Wonder Boy PCB. I turned since I had no plans to scrap or part out the cabinet that it is currently in (cabaret/mini cabinet).

mmmh.. but that's live auctions for you. a seperate reality from the madness that is the internet. like when I picked up Battle Bird locally for 15 dollars and was offered 1,000 dollars by a japanese collector - not that it's what it was worth to the majority (got much lower offers), but what it was worth to him. madness. it's the way of the world, when it comes to collectibles something is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. that's why this is all very interesting but I accept that we are talking in very loose terms indeed.
