Anyone got a pic of one of these? I've been offered one in the UK for £150 all in, apparently in mint condition. I'd like to see what it looks like though.

Woo, apparently it accepts VGA and is a tri-rez monitor. I don't know how true this is though. Can anyone confirm it for me?

I think for the measley sum of £150 I shall get it though. :)

It's JVS, not Jamma and I'm amazed there's even one in the country! Sell it to me!

Yes, the Windy2 is JVS (so you'll need an I/O converter to play jamma), with tri-sync monitor (15khz-31khz). Its looks exactly like a normal Windy, except the screen radius is slightly flatter, and its in blue.

The monitors are a real pain to rotate, I don't suggest it, as its VERY easy to crack the tube's neck since there is no monitor frame! Its still possible, just need to be extremely carefull.

That being said, 150GBP is a steal for a Windy2.

Those are some nice Windy's you got there Dave;) . Are you still using the original monitor on the Windy2?
BTW you should post pics of your orange Astro here. Looks real nice.

Thanks :) I really love these cabs. Yep, still have the original monitor in the Windy2, 15khz looks fantastic, 31khz needs a little work, but I don't use that mode much.

Yeah, the Astro 2 didn't come out as nice as I wanted, but under low light in my garage it looks good. :glee:
