SNK games for DS

I recall reading (seems like a year ago now) that some SNK games were being made for DS. For example Card Fighters Clash, and I might be wrong but I thought Metal Slug was also announced for DS.

Has there been any further news or info regarding SNK games for DS? Tell me what you know.

damn that sucks. I've been playing Metal Slug 1 and 2 along with countless other Neo-Geo games on my PSP for several months now.:kekeke:

I also own a PSP, and was using the NGCD emu since it first came out. So spare me the silly laughing. Too bad the PSP has such a crappy dpad that fighters play like your hand is stuck in a vat of peanut butter. The bad controls were enough to turn me off after a few months. Now my 1.5 PSP sits unused. Aside from some occasional Ridge Racer and an ISO or two...

One nice thing about the DS (especially the Lite) is the controls don't fight you. The Lite in particular looks to have a superb dpad and buttons. For that reason alone I would prefer to play a fighting game on DS - too bad there aren't many yet.

Back to the topic - if anyone has any news links regarding CFC for DS or other upcoming SNK games for DS, let me know. Hopefully we get lots of good news at E3.

I love the DS, but I still think it's D-pad is a piece of shit.

I just picked up the Nintendo Winter '05 catalog at an EB Games and it had screen shots of Metal Slug. Supposedly it got delayed, but is still on the way.

and as far as I know, Metal Slug is for GBA, not DS...although I'm sure it will look awesome on the DS Lite.

Card Fighter's Clash DS was one of the games that convinced me to get a DS.

I haven't heard anything about it since, though...

Card Fighters, is it announced for US yet? I am buying this on day one, since I sold my CFs for NGPC. That is my favorite game on that little handheld.

I remember a port of Metal Slug 1, not a new game, just a port being announced for GBA about half a year ago... Since then, I can't find any information on it, or even the intial announcement... Was it just a dream? :conf: :crying:

And I've been playing those Neo Geo games on my Neo Geo in a proper big screen for several YEARS now... :make_fac:

Ok so can we get back to the topic here? The question was about SNK games created for the DS, NOT how the psp is better than the DS or how you can play t3h romz on the psp.

Anyhow, what other games were announced by SNK/P for the DS? This the first I've heard of em. I wouldn't mind a Fatal Fury, SamuraiShodown or 'Slug for my DS.
