Hey, I just went by LA's famous/notorious Game Dude today on my way back from vacation to see what they have in stock after the holidays. They had a number of CD games, but I don't pay attention to them. Here's what they had for home cart (minus my purchase). You'll notice they have their own very odd pricing system:

3 Count Bout (US): $55
Aggressors of Dark Kombat (US): $120
Crossed Swords (US): $80
Double Dragon (US) [loose cart!]: $295 ...only <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">
Fatal Fury (US): $29
Fatal Fury Special (US): $30
Puzzled (JPN): $50
Karnov's Revenge (US): $60
Mutation Nation (US) [loose cart]: $59
Samurai Shodown (US): $40
Savage Reign (US): $150
Sengoku (US): $90
Super Baseball 2020 (US): $30
Thrash Rally (US): $75
Viewpoint (US): $105
World Heroes (US): $90
World Heroes 2 (US): $90

Some of their prices are ridiculous, but sometimes you can get a reasonable deal. I picked up a near mint Kabuki Clash for $145, not bad. No, there wasn't another copy. Their prices do fluctuate. I bought WH2 back in the day for $15 and Thrash Rally for $20. They also have Game Dude stickers on their carts that need gum remover to come off completely (if you want them off).

You can reach Game Dude through their website at www.gamedude.com I recommend calling them to confirm stock, prices, and condition.

You're telling me. I usually don't buy anything or laugh at some of the insane prices. But this time, I was like "whoa..."

Yea, I remember waaay back around 1998 or so, I got Aero Fighters 2 from them for about $50.

It took forever to ship, but what a deal!

Last time I was in LA visiting family in '99, I stopped in there.

Pretty awesome store, the size of a warehouse. Never seen the place before that, only knew about it from flyers in the mail back in the late 80's.
I remember some of the clerks were prix. "Dead or Alive 2 party at my house tonite." (1999)

That place should start a franchise. I don't know why they never did. They've been around as long as funcoland (1988), as far as I can remember.

If they would have started a franchise, they could kick funco's little ass.
