second opinion on rare pcb

I've been looking out for a haunted castle pcb for quite a while now( for a reasonable price that is ) and for about two years i've seen them come and go - missed out on some etc but now this haunted castle pcb comes along & it's got me puzzled .This guy on ebay reckons that the pcb below is the american version of haunted castle

In two years ,i've never seen a haunted castle pcb that looks like the one above
wheter on ebay,websites,even jap yahoo ,i've only ever seen the pcb pic below
as being the real deal regardless of what version/region it may be

So is it a ; clone - copy - american version as stated or a totally different konami board?.Just looking for a second opinion as i don't wanna be ripped off etc by this seller so ill ask the forum before i ask the seller no gameplay pics ? pins for third & fourth players Im a bit suspicious but....

p.s im not saying that this seller is a rip off or anything ,i just want a second opinion

Wow man thats weird, the guys feed back is really good. Maybe you should ask him for some gameplay shots with him holding the board or something, let him know that you are willing to bid that board up...

As far as i know ,there were various versions/regions of this pcb but the actual
pcbs always looked like the one pictured above whether they were from the u.s.a
ebay,jap yahoo,europe ebay etc also the pcb pictured as pins for 3rd /fourth player
and haunted castle did not have that feature.

im not trying to discredit you in any way ,i just need some further
explaining,screen pics
so i can then bid

demichris - do not lead me into temptation yes the haunted castle would look good on my screen (with some pixelation though)

the PCB in that auction definitely looks like the Konami GX hardware (Gokujou/Sexy Parodius, Salamander 2, etc.)

I think the seller either just took a picture of the wrong game, or lifted the image from somewhere else.


edit: yeah, the cabinet pic is taken right from the KLOV page

to be perfectly frank i dont even have a computer at all(tho oddly enough i do have
a digicam but cannot upload pics onto a library comp) and i pulled the pics off of
google. I get all of my pics off of google and just kept searching until i found
one that said konami on the board. And actually I really have to thank you for the
link to the pic. Ironically i am selling off my castlevania collection to buy a
comp, then i can do lots of things like upload pics, use photoshop to store pics i
take of friends, surf the net etc.

Looks like this saga is all over i basically just have to trust this guy & take his word to place a bid but unfortunately im a suspicious sort of person when it comes to these issues - can't be bothered to ask him for further evidence either

Good feedback, but scares the shit out of me with no actual photographic evidence.

Maybe i should look for akumajou dracula pcb (jap version) as i heard that its easier to play than its counterpart haunted castle,but it seems that akumajou is even harder to find & it costs more.Quarterarcade.com has a haunted castle for $275 but thats too steep for me
