Looks pretty fun, was wondering if anyone here has played it yet.

You know, I was really interested in this title, but I've been playing so much of the stuff that came out on DS the past couple of months that I haven't gotten the chance to pick it up yet. So I guess I'm in the same boat.

It's a worthy pick-up if you want a platformer with a twist. Drill enemies and solve mini obstacles with it. The graphics resemble the Megaman games too.

I picked it up when it was released and it is an excellent game. It was also game of the month (tie) in EGM last month.

I'm buying it next week :D

You might want to check around on the price. When I pre-ordered in from EBGames it was 29.99. However, I have seen it at a few places for 34.99, so I don't know if the price has gone up or if the 29.99 was a mistake.

Only $5 so it is not a big deal as it is worth either price. However, I have a hard time paying more than $30 for a GBA game.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm definitely going to shop around a bit. Hell, I'd even take a used copy if I could find one for a good price.
Can't wait to get my hands on the game...it looks great, and reviewers have said it's very "micro-friendly" due to its big sprites, menus and artwork. Great news, because I'll be playing it on my micro.

OK...I just bought this game. Wow...played a bit and it's great. Very bright and nice chunky sprites. Awesome drill play mechanics...

The rumble add-on works REALLY well in this game. Probably the best use of a rumble feature I've ever seen...especially since you can feel the drill winding up and winding down.

And, a nice touch-- they added a little comic book in the game box.

A worthy purchase...I will be spending lots of time with this game.

Played it today and WOW!!! This is one of the best games I've played in along time.

It's a REAL videogame. :) Hand drawn art, hyper music, awesome controls and tons of really interesting platform/exploration gameplay basedon the whole drill gimmick. The graphic style very much reminds me of Air Zonk on the NEC TG-16/PCE. Good stuff!

It definitely won't win over the GTA/Halo generation, but for oldschoolers (young and old) this is one of the best new action games around IMO.

Very simply put, if you own a micro:

Buy This Game Now.

The sprites and colors are very friendly for the smaller screen and the rumble feature rocks the crap out of the little guy. Tons of fun.

I heart this game. It rocks so much man, probably the best rumble feature to date, bright and beautiful sprites, kickass boss battles, and nice blend of puzzle/platform exploration.

I also loved the cute sprites. Screw all the haters. :emb:

Is the rumble essential to the gameplay or just an add-on like every other game I've seen with rumble? Can you turn the rumble off?

You can turn the rumble off, but I couldn't imagine playing the game without it, it adds a lot of satisfying tactile feedback seeing as the protagonist's vehicle is a drill.

Not essential, but I like it. It is more immersive and neat, but the rumble effect isn't very strong (which is fine by me).

Finally got a chance to play this game last couple of weeks, great game.

Personally I think the rumble is gimmicky and have it turned off, but then again I'm not a fan of force feedback in general.

Rented this from gamefly this past week and am pleasantly surprised by its old school gameplay. I think the rumble feature is one of the best uses of it in any game.

I just finished this game the first time through... absolutely kickass platform designs and ace boss battles that were fairly tough puzzles to crack, which made beating a boss all the more satisfying. Even after finishing the game once, there's still lots of treasure to discover, and lots of platform puzzles to crack... I'm having a blast right now.

The final boss battle is hi-lar-i-ous :D I heart the uber cute sprite designs.
