How much electricity does a cab (New Astro) consume?

Arcade machines are designed to be on all the time, arcades have them running from the morning until late at night.

No problem at all, just dont leave static images on the screen all day.

Any idea on the cost though? Does it use the same amount as a TV for example?

well from memory it requires around 200 to 300W, my 29" TV uses 161W.

I would say closer to 200W than 300W.
