sheeeeeesh</STRONG>
Why would anyone
want the AES market to stay where it is? Prices are ridiculous, and bootlegs are becoming more and more common. You know why there are so many bootlegs out there? Because spending $200 to create a convincing Slug 1 bootleg is very attractive to scammers who can sell it for $1600 to some noob who doesn't know any better.
Forgive me for removing all of the carriage returns in your post. I don't like having to scroll through 8 screenlengths on my 21" monitor.

BTW, I do agree with Fran: maybe you just want it and can't afford to buy it...</STRONG>
I can afford it. I'm just not stupid enough to pay. I'd buy 32 new GC/PS2/XBox games (or 100 DC games) over one Slug 1 any day of the week.
And it
is the fault of collectors. If buyers will pay $1600 for it, sellers will charge $1600 for it. If buyers stopped paying $1600 for it, pricejackers would be forced to lower the price. Simple economics.
The price will come down in time.
