That opening was terrible.

PSone-quality CG like kernow once said + terrible character designs to boot.

I don't see how anyone can honestly be looking forward to this game.

I thought the opening was good. It's not spectacular, but it got the point across.

It doesn't diminish me looking forward to this game one bit.

Damn, is it just me, or is Lien about to fall out of her bodysuit?

I think I'm just glad the game involves ALL the characters, and not just the new/original characters + Seth in the first MI.

I agree. Luckily I bout MI when it was on sale at Toys R us for $10. When you play it either it lags or they just got slower and you can't connect as good as before.

Well, it's not on top position on my most-wanted list, but the first one had its moments in vs... a friend and I had quite a blast with it for a couple of weeks, not exactly on the serious side but it was fun nonetheless.

Sure, it lacked in many aspects, but if you haven't played it in 2P, just give it a try, you may be surprised if you go with the engine.

So... I'm not exactly looking forward to it, but I'm mildly curious how it turns out.

Are you talking about the fact that it was poorly encoded and very blocky?

I think that the YouTube op looked like crap, but that's because of the bad encode. When it was clear, it looked great.

Well I think he meant, the actual animation like the rendition of characters. But seriously, what do you expect? Advent Children level CG? SNKP isn't THAT frugal in resources. I would say late PS1, early PS2 era CG.

Certainly not bad though (and like I said, at least it features most of the characters this time)

take out SS3 and SS4 and I gotta agree with you....

However I liked the trailer it was clean and the models were nice too. The action sequences were nice as well. Considering i liked the first max impact I got hopes for #2

last time i played, kof95, ss3, ss4, FF2 and FF3 were quite playable
