That is price gouging at it's finest. Not to mention, NCSX, fucks over alot of it's customer base by making excuses to raise prices on the items they sell.

Just wait until May 7th. Pretty sure Nintendo's U.S. release date for the DS Lite's on the 7th. http://ds.ign.com/articles/691/691013p1.html
Well two things here. The DS Lite is not worth paying $300 for, so I would wait. Second, NCSX is a very good import site and they state they don't suggest buying one at that price.

Have a similiar overpricing problem with my local import store i'm getting my DS Lite from. Just got a message today from the owner that he cancelled all pre-orders due to the overpricing of the system. He'll wait for the best time to order them when the price gets cheaper. This definately sucks.

I'm going to try and get it from another import shop in my area. Going to see how their orders stack up. Good luck with yours.
I really wish that was a possibility. Unfortunately, know one has access to those kinds of privledges. Especially, since the US version is not even out.

wow cant say i seen that comming. people must have forgot this is just an update not a completely new system. really i dont remember the SP launch being like that and that was a much needed upgrade.

LOL, just be patient fellas. Save your hard earned money and wait on USA launch day. English documentation, warranties, and support, never mind if things go wrong you can exchange it.
And a DS Lite launch on May 7th will be a fantastic way to start the warmer months.
