A: Dear Jgw2246, The Neo Geo cart that you see on the T.V. is running on a AES machine with a Phantom Converter. The cart I'm selling will not run on the Phantom. The reason is the cart must be of Asian, not Japanese origin. There is no way of knowing by looking if a cart is Japanese or Asian without running it on a Phantom. The cart I'm selling will run on an Arcade or MVS macine. I can't test it on a MVS bucause I don't have one and our last arcade closed down 2 years ago. I've sold a couple of these before with the same problem, they run in the arcade machines. It's something that is not addressed by the Neo Geo community by FAQs. Salamander173

My Phantom can play all the latest releases - Rage of Dragons, Matrimelee, SNK vs Capcom Chaos, Garou Mark of the Wolves, Metal Slug 5, 1945 Strikers and Preshistoric Isle 2, The only cart I haven't bought is Samurai Showdown 5 Special because I figured there will be an X-Box or PS2 version of it and why should I pay all that money.

Me Don't Know...(would like to though..

Only thing I can add is Andro Dunos Bootleg carts do exist...As I have one..Had it for years..
(the only boot of this cart I've ever seen is the one I own though-Sold to me as original-was cheap so I said the heck with it and kept is as it works perfectly ....There may be many more of these out there..)...
I don't have a Phantom 1 converter..

No matter what I'd get board pics of the cart he's "actually selling"...Since he can take pictures...(this can be tricky since the seller has two carts of the same game)

If he won't take pictures of the carts boards that he's "actually selling"..then I'd not even bother with perusing this auction..

I find it highly unlikely that all of those games work on t3h ph8Nt0m.

Playmore stuff with the heavy protection doesn't run well at all.
Even Blazing Star had trouble when I had my AES/Phantom.
