jose would'nt vouch for me, being the last deal I had with him went sour he fugged my xbox, his last words to me 4 months ago were "he was retiring"
long story-short I got screwed and learned how to fix my modded xbox, plus bought the additional software to be able to have anything anyone would want on one.
at this time I am not doing case modding or controller modding

Jose is one of the nicest and coolest guys I've ever met so I have a tough time believing he screwed you over.

Let me get this straight. You first lie and say that Jose is retired. Then when someone asks if Jose will vouch for you, you then say that you had a bad deal with him and he messed up your XBOX. I ask Jose about it to get an idea of what happened in this deal and he says he hasnt dealt with anyone named vintage. He also says that he hasnt retired. You then say you have an email from Jose with some supposed proof of him messing up your XBOX and when someone asks you to send them proof of the email, you leave the above message calling people forum trolls.
Also, you went from advertising your own supposed mods for people that are supposed to be far superior than the ones Jose offers ... yet in the above post you are telling people to check sell.com and ioffer.com . If you have some sort of proof that you have been scammed, then provide it and I would add it to the SCAMMER thread that I have in the feedback forum. I know Jose personally and he goes out of his way to do stuff for people .. thats why I have a hard time believing that he just brushed you off without trying to rectify the situation.

well hello to everyone, been away for along time. First work and school have sucked my time like nothing has ever done before. I find less and less time to do little projects and often forget about this place. I am not retired, thhough I did take a break. I remember Kyle after reading some pms I still had, the problem was some save files that were either corrupted in the trasnfer or something else. I vaguely remember the situation and I vaguely remember sending him the correct save files to get it to work also. If you want an xbox mod done, let me know I still do them just not as many as I am overwhelmed with other things.
Side note, Greedo you will have your Drive by Friday, it is a Samsung drive. sorry it took so damn long if there is anything else I can do to make it up to you send me a pm or post on here. Dark I already sent you a pm, also if anybody has a working copy of Ys IV with the english patch please pm me as I need to get one out to a person here, turns out 3 different copies I have gotten do not work correctly towards the end of the game.

This situation might need some clarification to the matter at hand. I had no intention of posting in this thread, but now that I see some BS flowing around, I feel my hand has been forced.
Anyways, this all began with me. In early november of 2005 I sold an XBox that I modded to vintage. He received and it and was happy with his purchase but asked if, for a fee, I would load the 'Box with all emu's and roms. Told him no can do as everything I had was already on the machine. He said he also had another XBox that available to him and wanted to know about copying everything from one to the other. Told him that it was fairly simple to ftp from one XBox to the other and he should check with someone else if he isn't familiar with the process. This was mid November.
Fast forward to January 22nd this year. He sends me a PM saying that he had sent it to sonofx51 and claims that Jose messed it up somehow. He didn't go into any great lengths about the problem, just that XBMC locked up. I asked him a couple questions about what he was seeing and then suggesting a solution.
He continues to go on about the problem and I send him this PM:
Then, he sends me this PM:
WTF? I wasn't envolved in whatever happened, yet somehow its my fault. He got greedy and wanted more, sent it off and got it back and claims somethings wrong and somehow expects me to pull a magic rabbit out my ass and come up with a miracle solution to this problem, sight unseen.

So, I sent this PM back:
It takes a few days, but I get PM back from him apologizing about what he said and that he was just frustrated. Now, I don't think Jose has actually messed up anything. I know he is a respected modder and knows exactly how to do these things. This was either a case of a corrupted file that wasn't spotted or maybe user error/attempt to add or mod something. I dunno.
I understand and offer to look at and fix the XBox software problem for free. All I ask is that he paying for shipping to and from me. He aggreed and said he wanted me to take a look at it.
That was on 1-31-06.
Now, less than 1 month later he is posting up a thread about how he is the new XBox mod king. Bullshit, dude. Just over a month ago you didn't have the slightest clue how to even diagnose a software problem and now you are the champion of modding and software install?

in one of Jose's responses he stated he was going into hibernation and would'nt be modding for awhile, I took that for retiring... since he did not offer a satisfactory solution, the file that was sent was corrupted aswell
long story short from rouphly the 3rd week in jan till the present I have been in possesion of aid 3.0 and slayers 2.6, I fixed my xbox, and have modded/loaded a few of my close friends/ family's xboxs, and figured since the process was repeatable I would offer that service to others
lastly I do not lie, I am not a scammer and if I screwed someones xbox up I would have refunded there money, and atleast offered to try to fix it
I am not claiming to be a mod king, I can however offer a better package then whats currently been sold here and it won't contain warez files:chimp:nor will it take 4-6weeks for turnaround for gods sake
