Hey just looking for a little help.

Bought an AES console on holiday in Japan a while back. Worked fine, but in my haste 2 play it when i got home i fried plugged it into a travel adapter thing instead of the step-down converter i bought. Yeh i know i'm a stupid cunt but what damage will this have done 2 the console? it no longer works and i just want 2 know if i will be able 2 fix it with my limited technical knowledge or if i will hav 2 pay sum1 2 fix it, because i don't know of any1 in scotland who would be able 2 fix it for me.

More than likely its just the mains adaptor thats dead.It wanted 110v you gave it 240v,it went pop.

Get a new adaptor and you should be rosy.

If it's a 9V system, just use a Mega Drive PSU. You can pick them up for a couple of quid.
