I was wondering what kind of paint I could use to cover up the marks on my candy, it's white but it's fibreglass so I don't know what could be used to repair the marks.

If the marks are black (as in it rubbed down to the black fiberglass underneath) then you may be screwed. First try using Softscrub on the areas to make sure it isn't surface marring (paint from something else that rubbed off on it).

I'm currently repainting my Astro City 2, beause it has to many scratches down to the black fiberglass, and let me tell you this is no easy job. I'm using Krylon Fusion spraypaint as its supposed to bond to all types of plastics. It doesn't seem to bond with this fiberglass very well. :oh_no: The paint came out flat, with an orange peal texture. I followed the instructions exactly, and if you don't put on the next coat withint 24hours, you have to wait 7 days. 2 months later, I finally have everything painted, and am applying a clear acrylic coat to protect it (since it really didn't "bond" to the fiberglass"). I'll post pictures on BYOAC website when I reassemble everything.

Here is what I did. I first took my cab to arcade repair shop and got them to take out all the electronic components, then I took the shell to a car body repair shop. Now it looks good as new.

Well from what you guys have said, it sounds like too much effort.

Yeah, automotive paint should stick to anything, and leave a nice shiny finish. Can I ask how much it cost to do (and did they try to sand/strip it first)?

Did I say anything about it not being the greatest thing in the world?, no.
Can hardly see the marks anyway, it's all good.

Here are the results of my repainted Astro. For more details you can check my thread on BYOAC. In short, do not use Krylon Fusion.
