does it look like jail bars?
if so the monitor might need a cap kit..
if its just shadowing, the flyback might need to be adjusted..
if you adjust it, be very careful!

shadow lines
yes they look like jail bars if i adjust what i think is the black and white level or brightness they turn from white lines to black. the lines on the left are daker there are 5 lines and some dull ones across the rest ????thank you

Try connecting an aditional ground wire from the mother board ground to the monitor ground
