I have a JP Uni cab, but have just found out it is wired with these US connectors.

I have just bought a blast city control panel from excellentcom and it has the JP connectors.

I need the help of someone here to explain to me a way round this. Can i get a 6 button US control panel with the right connectors? If i need to rewire my cab where do i get the cables and how do i go about doing this? I would be more than willing to compensate someone for they time and knowledge (I really want to get my Naomi uni up and running with 6 buttons).

Thanks

Man, if it were me I would have just spliced the wires themselves together. I guess you can go about it the "right way" and go to Happ Controls, get the actual conector, and pins and replace the one side, too. Either way, it's an easy fix.

If you decide to go the route of buying the matching molex connector for the US. I had a similar issue and ended up figuring out the pinout and then saved this info in a file on my home computer. I can provide it if it will help.

That US connector is pretty easy to get. A matching male version is available at Radio Shack (I've seen them locally and used a couple in my SG) for $3-$5. After you get that, all you need is the pinout and enough patience to crimp the connectors (and I guess a crimp tool would be helpful too).

I have decided to go the route of putting a US molex connector in place of the jp connectors, as this is the easiest option (I found the male connector at RadioShack).

I think i have a pinout, but another one would be a great help. I would be very grateful if you could email the pinout you have.
