Hope this is cool to post over here...

I need a manual scan for a Tatio F3. I'm trying to hook up a spinner for Arkanoid Returns and I've got no idea which of the cryptically labeled connectors is the right one.

Thanks!

Thanks. That gives a little more insite.

I never thought this mobo would be so difficult to find info on. :loco:

I know this thread is hella old, but were you still looking for the F3 Manuals? I have one coming to me in the mail that I could scan...

I'm quite certain with F3 all you do is change the jumper from "joystick to sensor" for a spinner. You then just wire the spinner's left and right wires to the harness like normal. Then select "paddle" in test mode. This is what I do with Puchi Carat anyway.

I should also be receiving the manual for bust a move again w/ it. Any interest exist for that? Scanning this stuff will probably be slow and annoying. I don't own my own scanner but I could probably use one at work after hours.

I have an F3 with Puchi Charat and Arkanoid Returns, along with the spinners. I could never figure out how to hook them up either. They take a special molex connector/female pins that I don't know where to find; plus you need to wire a 5v power to each one.

If you could share how you managed to get it working that would help me out a lot.

Yeah, I see where to switch to it on the board and how each one gets a ground and +5 v. Just not sure where to find the connector bits for it, and if I should tap a new line into the psu for the power or run it off something else.

In case anyone still needs the info:

1. +5V (red)
2. +5
3. ground (black)
4. ground
5. sensor out 1 (white-red or red-yellow) (corresponds to joystick right)
6. sensor out 2 (white-green or green-blue) (corresponds to joystick left)
