There is a 4-slot MVS at this local arcade that I showed interesting in buying. It's cab is 6 ft tall and in great shape. The logo is a bit scratched up on the sides, but it has the keys an all that stuff original. The board is in near perfectly working condition. In fact the guy said he barely has had it lock up (two or three times he said) and this is in an arcade, major usage. Anyways, the buttons are all perfect. It has the digital number display for the credits that are in above the joystick pads. The only flaw I can see with the electronics of the whole thing is the light for the 2nd player coin insert is messed, but the 1st player one works. It's about the best condition of any MVS I have seen in person. The games inside it are: King of Fighters 2000, 1945 plus, Puzzle Bobble, and Metal Slug X. The graphics inside the machine are in near perfect condition for each game even. The monitor displays well. He had the sound turned off, so I don't know the quality of that, but you can replace the speakers pretty easy anyways right, in case. I was thinking this was around 800 bucks, but what do you guys think?

I'd say 500, but that's just me. Once I was offered a 6 slot for $150 usd. I woudn't pay more than $600, and that's pushing it.
Just my 2 cents. :)

If everything is as nice as you say it is I'd go for it.
It seems a little pricey, but I'm assuming it's located locally to you? Then you won't have anything invested in picking it up. They might even deliver it for you.
Plus, those are some good games if they are going to throw those in the deal.
I'd try and get the guy to come down a $100. If they won't shoot for free delivery.

Yeah well it also depends if he has the cases for the carts an all huh. I should ask him about that. And the graphics for them. That would make them worth more to the point of 800 possibly if he threw all that in.

That's basically what model it is. It's graphics for around the two joysticks and sets of buttons isn't that weird striped one though, it's something else. And on the left side the letters are pretty bad scratched up for SNK, MVS, and Neo-Geo. But on the right it's near perfect.

If you have the means to pick it up, I'd go for it. The games it comes with, in loose condition, would probably run you a litle under $300 all together... and they're good games. I'd have to agree on trying to talk it down a $100 or so though, as that's not a deluxe cab.

Good luck. Take the plunge... there is no other like the Neo. buttrock
