What are all of the games that play at 24khz?

Well, ends up my monitor is only 15-24khz....dual res

so, I closed the other thread and was wondering if I could get a list of all games that run in 24khz...

Don't the Sega boards other than the ST-V and Naomi use 24khz? I know Zero Gunner and NFL Blitz are a couple more.

All the Sega Model boards are medium res and I think the Naomi can switch between each resolution.

naomi is either low or hi-res. not medium.

VF3 is 24k as with most model 3 games, I think?

Sega Model1,2,3 are med res, Most of the 3dfx based Midway/Atari games(Blitz, Rush, Gauntlet Legends/Dark Legacy, War: Final Assault, Mace: The Dark Age, Hyperdrive, California Speed, Vapor TRX, Biofreaks, Carnevil, Wayne Gretzkey Hockey, Cart Fury, Tenth Degree, Road Burners, NBA Showtime), War Gods, CruisinUSA/World, Offroad Challenge, Golden Tee Fore! series, probably more.

would that include Killer Instinct 1 or 2?

also, KLOV has a lot of those games up here listed as Standard Res....if those above are, then maybe KI, as they have that as Standard Res also.

Are the Atari System II games med res? I think they are...

I think the KI series is standard, not medium.

KLov also has Demolish Fist and Blue Dolphine as Medium Resolution games. true?

Nope, Atomiswave is Low res and High res only.

thats what I thought...guess klov isn't the one to look to for resolution, lol

The games I listed are either med res only or have options for standard or medium(and a few have options for high res/VGA).

As mentioned, the KI series is standard only(unlike common misconceptions, KI boards are not Nintendo64 hardware, and they don't have any 3d graphics hardware so it can't dynamically scale the graphics to change resolution).

Well KLOV is often Helpfull.... It's always good to back up any info with another source.....

try crazykong.com for the manual...

Or do a google search for the manual...


I guess High Rez and Low Res Swtichable = Medium Rez...

on games like Mace it says: "Type: Raster: Standard Resolution" and that's it...Google searching a manual for the games that "might" be wrong over there would take forever...

I am assuming that you are looking for games to play right?

What I'm saying is.... Check for games using KLOV.com....

Then find the Manual to make sure that KLOV is correct.
