Sealing Stickers on AES Snap games?

Does anyone know the history of sealing stickers on AES Snap games?
I know soft cases were sealed for a period of time...

AES Snap Sealed Games:

1995 Chibi Deluxe Quiz JPN AES
1996 Art of Fighting 3 JPN AES
1995 Savage Reign US AES

I just acquired an original "brand new" Chibi.
Factory sealed, and perfect! Not even sun-faded on the "yellow" spine.

I have seen a few Samurai sho-3's sealed just like that....i know of no more tho.....i feel they were very few snaplock's sealed this way.
Btw....that is a real tasty Chibi you have there....sealed too!...hmm :drool:

if it's "factory sealed" how do you not know there might be a Fatal Fury 1 in there? you opened it?

i wouldnt worry about that cart there as the overall condition and lack of stress on the snaplock back up the stickers story. just be careful guys i actually have a roll of those stickers and you know the wrong people probably have them as well.

Its quite scary really....with top printing tools & quality paper...these 'stickers' seem to be easily available! :oh_no:

.....get hold of a couple of minty snaplocks & your in buisness...put a cheap cart & manual in there....who would know?....seal it up...
How can you examine the insert?...behind the tight clear plastic!!...
Btw...i don't think i would ever buy another one....as i do have a sealed Windjammers...

The source I bought from was legit. A serious collector!!
He only had a few high-end games left from his collection.
It wasn't cheap ... I also obtained a MINT Neo Turfmaster US from him!

I was kind of pissed that it was sealed ... I can't play the game!!
and no, I'm not going to open it. The value would drop!
... what if I opened an Aquaman action figure? [Bobcat]

So, I just bought the MVS version of Chibi from Australia

(Getting ready to print my insert for BB's case.)

And yes, I could have bought some sealing stickers ...
but I'm not that type of collector. I collect legit Neo Geo games,
and won't pass off mine as non-legit!

Anyway, this game is legit with the sealing sticker!
There is no wear at all from the snap being opened.
And the insert is glass! not even a finger dent.

My only other unsealed game that looks like this is Metal Slug JPN from Barry S.
Case, Insert, Manual, Cart, and Sticker are ALL amazing! Better than brand new!
I have never seen another Neo Geo game that looks like this!
The SNK employee who put the game together probably got a HUGE bonus,
and received the SNK Employee of the Year Award!!

I have a few other games that are sealed ...
but they are all soft case:

First you gotta put the cart in the microwave, and press the popcorn button.

Then, I put on this special butter spray that I bought from Kernow.
Yeah, Kernow is playing dumb here... he sold it to me

It came in one of those spray bottles.

The shit turns invisible and the cart comes out better than brand new.

I've never played Chibi, so I can't say anything about it.
When I get the MVS, I will know. My neighbors are Japanese,
