I just picked up new sticks off of an ebay sale.
Got 2 sticks and 14 buttons or some such shipped for about $32.00
Seemed like a pretty good deal to me.

when I fugure how to put up a pic I'll show it off. Maybe someone will be able to tell me what kind it is as I can't read the box.

Why don't you just put up the link of the auction that you won the joysticks & buttons?

If the Joysticks are Balltop style, then you probably have Seimitsu clones. If the microswitches are tan and black, then it's a Zippy Joystick.

If the dust cover has a symbol that looks like a crown, then you got some taiwanese made sticks.

If the sticks are bat top then you probably got Happ parts, but for the price they may be knock offs. If they are X-Arcade parts, then you overpaid.

I'm just guessing, I hope I am wrong with my third guess.

well I got the link to the auction here finally. Thanks for the idea to put that up.

auction link

At any rate they seem pretty cool now that I got them at home and can mess with them. All the buttons and switches seem good too.

haha no I already have it and like it. I got it this afternoon in the mail and set to work on it. Had to make a mounting bracket so it would fit in my cab as the holes on the bracket that came with it do not match up with the bolts in the control panel. When I get my camera going, (need to go get some new batteries for it) I'll take some pictures and figure out how to put them up. I'm using it for playing x-men children of the atom in a cab I got at the house.

I can't say if they are as good as the semitsu ones though as I have never used them but they are better than some of the old worn out happ ones I have on other cabs I got.
I plan on ordering more of these myself.

Those are deffinately Zippy Joysticks. I've never used a Seimitsu stick, so I can't compare either. I ordered one directly from their website a couple of weeks ago, and they met my expectation. I haven't used it yet, but my curiosity took over so I bought one. dreamarcades.com

I assumed they were as small as Sanwa's but they are actually about the size of a Happ stick. Except the mounting holes do not line up with Happ sticks.

after about a week of use in a local store I have some more info on these sticks.

1 grimy kid hands seem to leave lasting impressions on the green ball tops.
2 the ball tops tend to come unscrewed, that is an easy fix though once you notice it.
3 someone pulled one straight up and out of my cabinet? I don't know how that was possible but it just came right up out of there. I can put it back but not knowing why it was able to do that It may be able to happen again. Could be that one is just defective? don't know yet.
4 Last, after about a week, the sticks do not return to center position with much force.

Anyhow they look nice. Maybe I got one that was defective. If I find out anything more I'll share.

So the moral of that story is you get what you pay for.

Yeah I just thought they would be worth a try. Though I still came out pretty good due to getting 14 buttons and switches for them. At any rate at least anyone that may be curious about them now can read this and get an idea if they want to buy them.

Thanks for the other links I'll check them out.
