First of all I would love to thank everyone who has helped me with my neo geo.

I ended up buying a new board for my monitor from ebay user video1963 highly recommended... I installed the monitor pcb in about 30 minutes and after setting the Vert and Horz molex connectors correctly I had a picture on my screen.. I degaused it about 10 times in an hour and set the focus and other monitor controls for best pitcure. I found out that my metal slug x cart had some garbly graphics so i cleaned the connectors and she worked just fine.. something good to remember...I played metal slug for about an hour and showed my wife puzzle bobble and she got hooked on it.. she said hurry up and finish working on it so you can bring it in the house.. i laughed because before she didnt want me to have the arcade machine... LOL...
I'll try to get some pics made tomorrow so I can show you all my machine.

When I got this machine it was not working, the isolation transformer was all rusted, the machine sat outside on a guys covered porch for over a year and the control panel was rusted. I wasnt for sure if anything worked on it when I got it to my storage area. The neo sat in storage for 2 yrs until last december a friend helped me bring it home. When i bought it, i didnt have a garage since i lived in an apartment, but now i have a garage :) I was really afraid the picture tube was bad and i took a gamble with buying a new PCB after failed attempts in fixing the original..I also had to put a new power supply in it, I just used an computer AT power supply

Here is the cost so far!
MVS 4 Cabinet with 4 slot board - sight unseen $25.00
Samurai Showdown - FREE Given to me by a coin op tech
Puzzle Bobble FREE Given to me by the same coin op tech
Computer AT Power Supply - FREE Given to me by my boss
Metal Slug X $48.00
World Heros 2 $15.50
Monitor Chassis board $110
New Buttons and Joys $60
Isolation Transformer $15.00
Cabinet Corner protectors and leg levelers $10.00

Total ( So Far) $283.50

Next on the list is the solid red vinyl sides and the neo-geo /mvs/snk logos recreated in white vinyl at the car stereo shop..

This might possibly be one of the least expensive neo geos ( other than freebies) on this forum!

I agree, PB gets the girlies hooked on the neo...KOF for the guys.

My wife and daughter love puzzle bobble or puzzle de pon
My son KOF 97 & 2K3 (he really likes being able to switch players in mid fight)
Me, any SNK game made for my beloved cab :make_fac: .
All my friends that come over : KOF 97 & MS...so far 2k3 is a little too frantic for them.

Congrats on getting the 4 slot working. I pretty much stopped playing consoles when I got my cab. Could care less about Xbox or PS @ this point.

I am amazed with the female Puzzle Bobble phenomenon. Every single girl I have showed it to gets hooked. The cartridge must have been coated in estrogen at the factory.

Congrats on getting it fixed!

What are you going to do with the dead monitor chassis boards?

I thought about sending it off to get fixed and keep it as a spare, then I thought about ebaying it off...if has a new flyback, capkit and a new diode ( forgot the part number) plus i have the old flyback which is probably good and all of the caps and the diode which if i were to guess, they all are good. i think it might be IC4 that was the problem popping fuses, but i got tired of mucking with it...

what do u think its worth?
