Accessing the Metal Slug X hidden/test levels

I remember back in the day when I was using emulators to play neo games, there was a save state to access hidden levels in Metal Slug X. Is there a way to do that with the Unibios 2.1 on my MV-1? It was a while ago when I saw this. It was before Metal Slug 3 was out.

You have to be in console mode. You have to enable dev mode (debug dips), enable it as soon as the unibios splash screen disapeers. Then when in game press select twice (first time pauses game, 2nd time brings up hidden menu).
