What's the A or B boards for?.

Guessing by your question, you haven't messed with CPS2 stuff much. The A and B boards are respectively one half of a CPS2 game. The A board is the CPS2 mother board and the B board is the game or rom board. You then join them together the play the game. Hope that helps.

So I have to have both the A&B boards. I am new to this kind of stuff even though I played them in the arcades.

No worries man. There is alot to learn about this crazy hobby/habit/obsession... what ever you want to call it. I'm still learning quite abit too.
