If someone's talked about this already then forgive me

I read that this won't be out until March but Sony was kind enough to send me a demo of it and I must say it's a nice looking game.

You play a cop who's main task is to take out various criminals with diffrent restrictions from level to level, for instance one level( out of the three ) had me fighting an escaped lunatic and his gang where I had to stop his gang from reaching the town( there's a lil map on the top left of the screen letting you know the distance left between you and the town to take them out, after that the next goal is said escaped con. This boss fight takes place with you in a chopper complete with a gatling gun( that can over heat ) while the con takes a play out of your book and jumps from car to car while tossing bottle bombs at you.

The closest I can say to what this game is like is Burnout meets Max Payne with a lil comic book stlye thrown in.

I'm really interested in this game, it's pretty much the ONLY original title on the PSP that's caught my attention.

But yeah, from the reviews I've read apparently the game was playtested by masochists. :emb:

Yeah I got the demo at the same time they sent me the beta for Syphonfilter. I thought it was a good game but I can see where the novelty would wear off really fast. But as a demo I thought it was great.
Syphenfilter on the other hand I'm loving. I can only beta test the online game but I recently got a demo of the game and was able to play the first player mission and I'm loving that as well. I say this game is worth picking up.

I don't mean to steal the thunder away from your thread but ....

Another driving game?

True, although this game is more half racing/half action, at least from what I've seen in the previews.

Think if John Woo did car chases. :p

Sounds good. I don't want it or anything as driving games just aren't my thing. Just good to hear another game may turn out well.

I haven't played Chase HQ in a long time but I think there are some similarities.

The game is already out in Europe. Gamerankings.com (http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/926523.asp) has links to some of the reviews.

One thing to note about the U.S. version is that it's confirmed the difficulty will be toned down a bit, as pretty much all of the reviews out right now say the difficulty of the Euro version is just punishingly hard.

That's basically what it is, it's just nice to know that the psp finally gets another original game.

I wonder how the on foot missions are since the demo movie showed some scenes of it.
