Looking for some NAOMI info - Found what I needed, disregard

Missed the thread below with the NAOMI info, sorry. Please disregard this post.

I am looking at picking up NAOMI 1 hardware now that it has finally come down to a reasonable price. There are a few questions I would like cleared up though, if anybody here has any insight.

1. Are games/systems region locked? I am not sure, but I think they are.
2. Assuming they are region locked, can I just swap the BIOS chip to play games from different regions? Is there more to it than that?
3. What hardware is required. From what I have read, I gather that I need a motherboard, cart, and JAMMA interface board in order to run it in my JAMMA cabinet. Anything else I would need? I would be picking up the GD-ROM sometime in the future.
4. Anything else I should look out for?
