Quick question: About the Dpads in general.

Personally I use the middle of my thumb to play games. I just find it easier. I know some people here use the end of there thumb.

Almost but not quite. I use the middle of the thumb (only pic I could find that kinda resembles the way I use it)

I personally have always wondered about this, and this may be a stupid thread but I dont care. Just looking to see if im not the only one in the world who does this.

EDIT: This should of went in unrelated. I accidently posted in the wrong forum. However it does still apply to handhelds. So if you want to move it, then whatever.

Depends on what genre of game I'm playing. Or really what game. I switch it up. Most of the time in fighters I'll use the tip.

I never paid any attention till I read this thread. I use very far down my thumb, where the bend/joint is. My thumbs are double jointed and the fact they'll literal bend backwards causes the tip to have less control.

So im not the only one! I always wondered about this, maybe it is something that begins to happen as we play more and more games. I dont see many new gamers doing this. If any at all.

yep depends on the game.

games that require intensive action on the dpad, such as fighting games, i will place my thumb all over the dpad.

other games, i did just like you did.

Depends on the game, but usually towards the middle of the thumb for me.

Wow, that's pretty fucked up and retarded if you ask me. My friend knew a guy that used to hold his SMS controllers upside down. Kind of reminds me of a foot fetish or something.
