Psp new game bios list?

Is there a list of what new games on the psp require what version of bios on the psp? The reason Im asking is because I bought about a dozen titles at launch and havent bought any since because I was afraid theyd upgrade the bios.

If shops allow returns all you have to do is put the game in, if it comes up with a message saying the system needs to be upgraded to v2.X to play this game.. then you just turn it off and take it back.

The PSP needs to be plugged into the wall with atleast 50% battery to upgrade the firmware anyway, so the game cant upgrade the system just by putting the disk in. (thats just going on what I know)

But obviously most new games will start to constantly require updates to play so in the end your choice is pretty limited.

Most shops in Norht America will not accept back software, only for the same title.
I was thinking one thing I could do is go to a used game store and bring my psp and try out opened games.
I think I really want the sims to on the psp instead of the Xbox for its potability.
I dunno.

Sims 2 requires 2.5, but you can play it from a 2.0 using a program called PSPsetX.

Here's a list from a Spanish forum of games that are not compatible with 1.5 in any way, I've tried to translate it, notice that some games not on this list need to use some trick for them to work in a 1.5:

guess ill have to be skipping the Sims 2

Be prepared to skip most if not all of the games from now on if things don't change drastically. Notice that you can upgrade to 2.0 and play most of the emulators in it (no isos though) and play games like Sims 2, and still go back to 1.5 whenever you want.

When games like Metal Gear Acid 2 hit I'll have no choice but to upgrade. Fuck the rest of the stuff.
