I have a Fantasy 95 'adult' jamma board made by Hi-Max Technolgies using a Comad board and needed to make sure that it worked. Its Jamma, so Can I plug it into my neo-geo cabinet to see if
it works? I know the -5 volt is not there, but will this make that big of a difference? I dont know what the -5 volt on jamma does..

Here is the game info...

Fantasy '95 (c) 1995 Hi-max Technology.

Rip-off of "Gals Panic!", featuring 'adult' photographs instead of the cartoon imagery. Looks like a hack of the "Fantasia" series made to include some beefcake, for the ladies.

- TECHNICAL -

Game ID : COMAD-0953

Main CPU : 68000 (@ 10 Mhz)
Sound Chips : OKI6295 (@ 12 Khz)

Screen orientation : Vertical
Video resolution : 224 x 256 pixels
Aspect Ratio : 3/4
Screen refresh : 60.00 Hz
Palette Colors : 33792

Players : 2
Control : 8-way joystick
Buttons : 1

I was thinking of selling this Jamma board to fund my MVS. I also have a Double Dragon and NBA JAM ( without sound board) PCBs that I was wanting to test.

Thanks in advance...

Some older games use the -5 volts for power. If your game was made in 95, chances are it doesnt. NBA Jam doesnt, Double Dragon does, but it will still work, you just wont have music. The thing to be careful of is that the Neo Geo multislots are not jamma (i think i saw in another post, you have a 4 slot right?). Here are a list of the differences between jamma and neo geo
http://www.hardmvs.com/manuals/Jamma2NeoGeo4SlotPinout.pdf
The biggest one is sound, neo geo is stereo and uses the common ground, instead of normal audio ground, so dont stick a jamma board in there without first modifying the sound. I made a little switch in my cabinet to go from mono to stereo. I found the schematics for it on this site.
