if anyone cares here is info on how to mod a 3do to out put true rgb..
one problem is its in german :P

as far as i can tell this info is very rare and seemed to be almost lost.

the 3do is my last system of many that i have left to mod for rgb and the hardest .... i came up with a cdi rgb mod on my own and found a guide for the nes...

this makes the nes rgb mod look like a piece of cake.

maybe if one other person out there wants to take on this task we can help each other out..

Wow is this for real?

I remember an article about that near on famous Japanese RGB modding site saying it couldn't be done?

What kind of help would you need? i have no soldering or modding experience, but i could probably get you a FZ-1 or FZ-10 to work on.

PM me with what you had in mind specifically!

well i have 90% of the mod figured out.
i am having 4 F1-Z pcbs made. it sucked i had to remake the board layout in a pcb program to have a
compliant format for the pcb manufacturing company.
it costs around 30$ in parts to do the mod.
i have to wait about 1 week for my pcbs and parts to come in.

i think i am on my own for the most part with this mod.
when i figure it all out i will post detail steps and fixes to the info i already posted.(finding some mistakes and missing info)
if anyone wants a kit later let me know i will have some extras.

first have to get this to work for me.

finally all my parts and custom pcbs came in.
now my rgb 3do mod is done and working.
i would say the project worked out very nice.

99% of the fun was the guess work that went into figuring out the
loose bits of german information i had.

a very big thanks to moosmann for getting me all the information from germany!
the mod would not be possible with out that info.

the mod i worked on was for the fz1 3do.
right now i have 2 fully assembled boards and one blank pcb.
if anyone wants a board or wants their fz1 moded pm or email me for more information.
all the fz10 information has been given. i dont think i will work with that one because i dont own a fz10.
