Metal Slug: Mission 1

This is not very new, but I thought I should share this piece of news with all of you. No, this is not Metal Slug: First Mission. This is a completely different game for cellphones.


And guess what, it's being distributed only in South Korea by SKT, which more or less stands for South Korean Telecommunication, SK Telecom for short. No plans or announcements on releasing it in anywhere else. Not even the Japanese are going to get a piece of this.

Hmm, looks pretty nice for a cellphone game, but I'm not sure about playing MS on a phone.. ah well, I guess goofier cell phone ports have been done.

I wouldn't play anything on a cellphone other than a puzzle game maybe. Controls blow.

I'm still waiting for that MS1 remake for GBA.

that looks fucking sweet. Way cooler than the NGPC rip-off on my cell phone.

That looks great for a cell phone game. Too bad my phone sucks, and can barely play blackjack.

Is this still in the works? Seems it may have gotten canned along with MS-3D.

The 3D Metal Slug has been confirmed as still in development many times.

MS1 GBA is still in the works I believe, at least someone at SNK Playmore USA confirmed it not too long ago.
