Well, I made this for a friend. I suck at painting, so my friend did it himself (very well I might add). I built case out of 1/2" MDF. It has heat vents on the bottom, but doesn't really get hot. Well, what do you think? The items on the back are (left to right): Audio/Video outs, coin button, dimmer switch, pause switch, freeplay switch, power, PSU input. ON WITH THE PICS:

Besides maybe painting the exposed metal panels (top and back), i think it looks pretty damn nice.

Where did you source that s-video jack from?

I <3 green.

Oh, I forgot to mention that everything is recessed enough so it can sit on any side without damaging anything.

I need a fully enclosed MVS case made for my 2-slot Consolized MVS unit because I don't want my 2-lsot to get damaged and I want it to last a very long time too. Can you paint it metallic purple because that is the color of it. ;)

Fantastic! job my friend. ;)

let's hope, you didn't sand the edges by hand. that would have taken ages ...

otherwise, as Todd said ... i'd have had the metal cover powdered, but it looks way nice as it is.

I hate to be such a downer, but those A/V jacks are improperly spaced. It's really just a technicality, but I try to always follow the standard spacing when doing this kind of thing. You never know when someone might have a retarted cable with the jacks fixed in relation to each other (glued together).

That's a sweet ass system there. If I ever have to get rid of the cab, I think I'll get something like that. I think it would look amazing in pure white.

Do you mean the order of the RGB? Because that would make more sense than what you said.

Very very nice work Eddie!

Eddie,

That is fantastic; great looking unit. I really like the corners/edges.

yeah, I used a router on everything. I'll post pics of construction. As far as the spacing of the jacks or order, I didn't really care. Maybe I should have, but I'm not a picky bastard! Hahaha. I don't even think there is a standard order for the RGB because I have devices with different orders. But oh well, whatever. I'll get some pics in a few minutes of the construction.

Looks great. How did you keep the paint from soaking into the wood? That finish looks extra smooth.
