I could check this on a later AES revision (3-6, bios to the right of the cart slot). I already have the info (but partially) for a 4-slot which would also apply to the early AES board (bios above the cart slot), which is different in this respect from the later ones (basically, standard TTL chips are replaced by a custom SNK chip).
