AW on LCD TV

I'm having trouble with the best display option for AW via my LCD TV. Some games look great, even in low-res via RGB (Rumble Fish) whereas some games (Neowave) look terrible whatever, whether its hi or low and RGB or VGA. Anyone help me out a little? I don't really wanna have to go back to CRT.
