I picked this game up last night and all I can say is WOW! I'm blown away at the quality of this title. It seemed that Sega was in a slump of mediocre games, they realy delivered on this title. Its so sweet the way they utalize the 2 screens, the fast paced action flows over both of them. Also, the boss battles are very nice looking, as they are rendered in full 3-d. They definately kicked the difficulty level up on this title also, no more 3 hit bosses. As it stands right now, I still haven't beaten the first boss, he's pretty relentless.

Bottom line, if you're a sonic/sega/platformer fan pick this game up now! It freakin rocks!!

the music's fucking great.
it's by the guy that did the jsr soundtrack i heard.
the bosses get tedious, but it's a great sonic.
it's fast.
isn't that what sonic's supposed to be about in the first place?

Interesting (although useless) tidbit of trivia about the soundtrack. Agreed though, the game totally rocks.

yes, i don't think you can really apply that (useless amount of) trivia to your life.
but i'm sure it's made your life double plus good because of it.
the bonus levels work great with the touch screen.

I havent' had a chance to check out any bonus levels yet. I only played it for about 30-45 minutes last night. I'm still stuck on the first boss. He's mad cheap! I must have died like 10 times on him! I'll get his ass after work tonight, believe that. Whats with the wireless modes on it? There's wireless link and download play...

Sonic Rush is great. :)

I've mostly steered clear from the advance and the 3D series, but being an oldschool fan of Sonic's genesis outings i have to say that Rush feels like Sonic back in form again.

The game's presentation is top notch, they've succesfully used the old 2D mixed witha bit of 3D. Though most people loved the music in Rush, i kinda still miss those classic Sonic songs like Green Hill Zone etc. (Sonic 1 & 2 had some of the most memorable music of video game history IMO)

Not saying that the beat-orientated music of Rush is bad by any means, it's just different... and perhaps less catchy.

The speed of the game is insane as it should be. At times when you hit an overdrive and fly from the bottom screen to the upper, then back down again... you just can't help laughing. :D

Top game all around, and especially great if you're a fan of Sonic games.

It's everything I've ever wanted in a 32-bit Sonic game. Just awesome.
