Unlocking the endings?

How do you do it? :confused:

In general, for all the fighting games. The FF, KoF, and SS series especially.

For instance, I know you must beat Garou on one credit without continuing to see a character's true ending, as is the case for KoF '99(but only with the default teams).

But does the one-credit win hold true for all games? I know in Shin Samurai Spirits you can continue all you want and still get the ending, and the same for Fatal Fury Special.

Can anyone help me?

I just hate owning a game I can't beat... :mad:

You can continue in FFS, fight Krauser and still see some ending pictures, but that's not the real ending. You have to win 2-0 in every match to reach Ryo, and after beating him you'll get the real endings with more pictures. Btw., even the "continue endings" are different, depending on the difficulty. On any diff setting below Expert, you will see a pic of the FFS cast with "Try the <next> difficulty level!" written on top of it. If you beat it on Expert, you'll get an other line... I don't want to spoil it for you... it contains the word "Superman"... try to find out for yourself... :cool:

Wow, I had no idea there were so many endings in Special...

Thanks for the tip, I'll try it out!

Hope you get that manual soon Cinidarian.

Fatal fury 3 has a positive abundance of endings, and plots, sub plots. I used the debug bios to see them all.

Obviously Art of fighting 2 has a few different endings.

Did you get my envelope yet?

Right now I'm trying to get all the character endings for KoF '96 and '97, with some intermittent play of Mark of the Wolves and SamSho3 for good measure... That's all I've been playing these last few weeks!

So how about Real Bout Fatal Fury? I beat it once with Hon-Fu, but the ending was just pictures of the character while the credits rolled, is there more than that?

If you finish on one credit in Shin Samurai Spirits, you get a nicer ending than if you continue.

Last Blade 2 has a secret ending when you win with Hibiki and get a fatality on the first 6 matches.

This might be quite old but interesting IMHO...

If you beat FF using 1 credit and without losing any rounds, ending credit-roll will display bashed up portrait of all the characters.

If this game is completed using 1 credit and losing a round in-between, you will get to see the normal portrait of all the characters.

Yep cinidarian, I got that envelope a long time ago, but was a little slow posting immediatly, but the envlope should be with U anyday now
