I'm going to get some new joysticks for my twin sticks this weekend, I'm ordering from ExellentCom (check their latest price list newsletter for pictures of the items I'm refering to). Should I get Sanwa or Asahi when I order? Also if I get Sanwa sticks, is there a need for a "Joystick Print Board" or "Sanwa Joystick Metal Plate"? My final question is are the 35mm Joystick balls that Exellentcom offers compatible with either of the joysticks I listed above?

Thanks for any info!

A mix of both fighters and shooters (its for my custom neo geo arcade sticks). Do you know what the "Joystick Print Board" or "Sanwa Joystick Metal Plate" are used for? Also, will those 35mm joystick balls that exellentcom sells compatible with sanwa sticks?

The print board holds the microswitches. If you don't want to use a 5 pin connector cable, you can solder directly to the microswitches. The plate is used for mounting purposes. Depending on how you plan on mounting your Sanwa, you may or may not need it. If you are using Bolts that stick out on top of your stick, then I would use the mounting plate. It keeps the bolts further away from your hands when you are using the stick.

I'm still waiting for my first excellentcom price list, so I can't comment on the ball tops.
