Generally speaking, no.
Remember, the Amiga is a 15Khz machine. Although there are hacks to allow some Amiga's to run VGA monitors, its not going to do you any good for games or most applications.
You need either a 15Khz RGB monitor or perhaps something like a scan doubler that will then allow you to use a VGA monitor. The only exception is the A3000 because it has a built-in scan doubler and a VGA output.

Gahhhh!!!!
I looked in my monitor collection and found this one. I saw "multisync" and was elated because everyone I've asked in the amiga community said that I need one for an amiga VGA monitor...
Oh well.. off to look for other options... I don't want to spend the money on a 1084 (shipping) or a scan doubler... I may spring for an RF modulator as it's my only option left.
What really irritates me is that I *do* have a 33'' 15 Khz monitor in my house.. unfortunately it's in my VF3 cab.

If you want to use just a tv adaptor, the A520 is the one you will probably want.
