I just got my kit (yeah!)... but I get a horrible picutre in 31khz mode.... it's very small and super wavy in the middle of my screen. Yes, I'm in 31khz mode with the dip switches on the board. I dont' get what's wrong. I'm using a capcom I/O. Anyone?

You can't output 31k though a jamma adaptor, you need to use VGA direct.

Is there not enough power for the signal? I just retested my monitor in it, looks great on other thigns, but not this. Even in low res mode, the monitor is flickering... struggling every once in a while, like the signal is somehow weak? Just a guess. It's a monitor that changes to whatever frequency it's being given, and you can BARELY make out that it's the right freq. Help!!!

You said you have the dipswitches on the NAOMI set, but what about the monitor? If it's a multi-sync monitor maybe there's a switch on the chassis also?

Looks like my theory was debunked 2 minutes ago. :D

Trust me, there isn't.

If the monitro looks good with other games, maybe it's time to test your NAOMI with another cabinet to see if possibly your hardware is bad?

I did something similar... I took my vfevo N2 and hooked it up to the machine just like this is hooked up now...and I get an "out of range" error on my monitor, hooked up just like what it is now. I'll try the other way around and see...

I've pretty much determined it's my power supply. I hooked up the unit to one power supply, and then to my monitor... works. DAMN.

The I/O error was because I didn't hook up the stupid usb cable. Why the hell does this power supply work with everything else but this? I dont' get it. Is there a quick fix for it, do you think?

now I have everything hooked up in the cab and use a computer monitor outside of it.... and that looks great :eek_2:

Every other system I've had in here works great, but not this one. The monitor must not be getting enough juice? Grounding? Is that the issue? Anyone help!

Damn, I plugged this in to the wall... wow, it looks like trash, but I did it. Power for the monitor coming from another source all together.... And when I turn on the machine, same garbled mess. I wonder if power is leaking in somewhere? Using the monitor by itself from another power source isn't doing it either. I'm confused as all hell, now.

Found the problem. Since I was using VGA, I thought "what the fuck, I'll unplug the little bastards that are for the low res singnal..."

BAM! That did it. I'm so damn happy now. Now I have to ONLY wire up all those damn buttons. Jesus, this is why I wanted to take the day off of work. What a mess.

Ohhh! You had the RGB from the JAMMA harness and the VGA connected at the same time? It must have been confused with two signals.
