Hello there, im bin on the boards for a while now and decided to stop lurking and post some of my work :glee:.

Material are a number 2 ticondera pencil and some cheap printer paper.

And the next bash of images are my game that im slowly creating (as in game design document), a streets of rage type of game with rpg elements, the 3 are the main characters you get to pick each with there own style, bizara is the balanced type with powerful special moves, four eye is a quick but not so strong fighter with some magic spell's, and axel is the heavy muscle dude that week on defence but a monster offence, they all will level up as you get experience, anyways the game is called Bonebreak Fighters and will be hand animated.

There not shaded mainly becuase im going to color them later and the style is more for animation.

His sleeves are a little too thick, and his hair is a little short. Iori is also pretty skinny so It wouldn't hurt to tone down the body thickness either, overall not too shabby.

Edit: his waste is also a little too high.

yeah his sleeves are a bit thick, i decided to cut his hair shorter dedint look to good very long and as for the not being skinny, i gave him a bit toner look mainly becuase he looks more like a fighter then a scrunny looking dude (this is why i have to stop straying to much from the original design)..... :emb:.

It's definitly not bad, but I would brush up on proportions a tad and possibly use a source for quick reference. BTW: You draw clothes very well, they look pretty natural and your shading/shadows aren't too shabby either.

Yeah my anatomy still needs refinedment, sometimes is good sometimes is wrong, still working on improving my skill, as for clothes and shading, thats probably my best area in my art that i have locked down.

Thanks for your comments.

Are you drawing them all squat on purpose?

Hehe, well i have a tendency to have them squat, but 2 are really squating the rest are standing or posing.

Awesome shading. You have a very nice and natural toning style. My only complaint is proportions. The legs are too short for the torso. But I screw up alot on my head proportions, so I know what it can be like. :D

Edit: Forget to mention that I like the poses.

inconsistent. Proportions range from WAY-OFF to stylistically done. The first few you posted, namely the Mai one....are not so hot. Some of the the later ones you posted are pretty good and the squatty proportions are kinda' growing on me. How old are you? Going to art school? You've definitely got promise.

The Gunstar sketch is great and doesn't look at all like your other work.

Im currently getting my g.e.d to go to the art institute, there i will be studying 2D animation and 3D, tought i dont really need to study 2D animation becuase im self learned but i need to know what the real industry environment is like in practice and if i can handle that, i do need 3D animation which i need with my 3D modeling skill, as well as some painting classes which i only have little knowledge in that area.

Oh, im 20 years old by the way and thanks for the comments ill keep working on improving perportions.

EDITE: Oops forgot to say that i can do many styles and dont like to stay locked to one only.

Well done man, so what if your drawings aint in proportion or 'that' guys waist is too high. I say good for you that you put your work on here in the first place to share with everyone. RESPECT is due!

Keep up the good work and dont let all these NEGATIVE comments put you off putting more stuff up on here. bring 'em on!

Game on!

Hey, that's awesome. I never got into 3D work, so I admire the poeple who are good at it. I really like the dolphin. The first one is your Axel character, right? I like his face.

By the way: You talking about the Art Institute in Tampa? I'm hoping to go there, too.
