Just decided to make this thread, y'know, just 'cause. An all-purpose thread, if you will.

Anyway, good games to Excalibear. Sorry for the shitty playing. The connection wasn't so hot, but the main problem I was having was that my big duke is just about to go out. I have to press down REAL hard to go left, so if I'm facing right I almost never block because I don't press down hard enough. Looks like I'm going to have to retire it and pick up a new controller :( Hope to play you again soon with a better controller!

Its all good. The connection was bad, I'm suprised i was pulling off the just defends and parrying.

I had the same problem with my old duke and it was down instead of left. I sold it and later picked up another and the buttons were stuck. I decided to open it up and clean the contacts and each button.worked great after that~~~~~~~maybe it might work on your controller???
Also I want a rematch in third strike soon (the last time you owned me pretty badly).
Are you picking up samurai showdown???????

Capcom needs to rerelease this game with the lag corrected.

Its my favorite SF by far, but the lag makes it difficult to play on a competetive level.

Wow, that was a long time ago. The guy who took first place is a Q player, and a beast one at that. He fucking parry - supers everything, it's unreal.

CvS2 is a lot of fun, even with low tier characters. The timing is definitely different from other games, but once you have it down it's smooth as buttah..

Damn I should start playing this again. Its been such a long time since I played it I feel that if I start I would be lost. :(

Hey, ggs. Sorry for the shitty connection. I don't know what my problem is. I had the same delay problems with Galfordo. I'm starting to seriously think about quitting online all-together. I can't bring half of my game and I always end up looking like a scrub :(

Online sucks, but it's pretty much all I've got around here, save the occasional match with my roommate, who I have to practically beg to play.

I haven't played CvS2 in a long while, but I'm willing to play anyone. Just let me know. I have played 3S more in recent times, albeit with friends in town... not online. Either way, I will be rusty as hell and you can get free wins off me if you want to play. :p

My xbox is currently In another room and i have my 360 set up with broadband.
which is why i didnt accept your invite to cvs2. I need to pick up a router soon.

I also Need a new stick! My t5 hori died on me as well as the dpad on my duke.
Ive been playing Second Impact on my dc with my agetec stick and it is vastly superior to the hori (the main thing i cant stand about the hori's is the distance between the buttons and the stick )


If anyone knows about (or someone who has experience) modding a dreamcast arcade stick to work on an xbox with Mic support PLZ let me know.
