I rewired my power circuit with the plans from hardmvs.com... checked my voltages and I am getting the proper volts.. I hook the white and black from the montior into the isolation transformer and the monitor remains black. Is it suppose to be black until the mainboard is on?? I figured it would have a little glow to it like a TV does when it isnt on a station.. Could this be a problem my monitor?
I hooked up my mainboard to a PC power supply and when I turn it on, i hear a pop from the speakers, i can turn the volume up on the board and i can hear a hiss.. i put in a cart, figureing it would make game noises, but it didnt... could this mean a bad mainboard? the light for the coin door comes on but not the marquee.
please help...
