Man, I really don't want to get a DS in it's current form. But Castlevania is calling me.

get it used now, here or on ebay, there's alot going around..

when its finally being redesign, get rid of the old one, done... you get to play castlevania now, and then again when the new ds arrives...:D

Nintendo may be brushing off rumors to maintain sales levels.

Remember what happens during any pre-system launch period - all competing systems take a hit because retail salesmorons will tell the customers to wait for the new system to be released (or try to sell them an X-Box).

you can always find someone on ebay who doesnt know they made a new design (when it comes out of course) ...then sell the current one and trade up...you may even make money...as I did on the SP

i guess it wouldn't make sense for them to do it now
after unloading alot of ds units after christmas.
knowing nintendo they'd do it in a lul where there wasn't much
coming out to increase sales.

Yeah, I expect maybe sometime this summer, seems Nintendo likes to release portables then. Also, since Rev won't be out till November. They are dismissing the rumors so that ppl wont hold off buying a DS.

Who cares! Yeah the DS is butt ugly but the games on it will keep you entertained for more than an hour like most PSP games have kept my attention (with exception to Lumines). But anyway yeah ... buy a used one and pick up Castlevania that game rocks :buttrock:. Mario Kart in another solid title and sure might get some flames for this but Animal Crossing really makes me waste lots of time on the DS IT'S GREAT!

As far as the DS being redesigned, have no doubts my peeps they will do it. My psychic powers say that they are looking into that right now! Just loook at the brighter sp or the GBA Micro. The DS will come out just as sales are going down in an effort to boost them up again. Thanks Nintendo
