Just playing against a player in Japan with about 300+ wins and 50 ish losses (a snaker no less) and he could select courses not available on-line: Waruigi Pinball and the pirate ship one (don't know the English names).

Sorry if this is old news, but what is the story? We didn't play on either, but they came up as his/her selections.

You can do that with a hacked savegame I think, they found a way to do so some time ago. I think you can even play battle mode on-line but I'm not sure. I haven't tried this myself.

Yeah, I am getting the same answer elsewhere too.

I was pretty excited there for a while.

So if his/her track had been the one selected, I wonder if all of us (it was a 4 player match) would have been able to race on those stages?

Yeah I heard about this. I would love some new tracks. I think you would need a ram cart to load up the game and have saved hacked files transfered to it though. Correct?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can transfer a save game to an original DS cart by using some software in a flash cart in the GBA port.
