Is it really s-Video quality though? I mean since it is from composite it defeats the purpose of s-video right? I am just asking since im not exactly sure, and of course +1 :)

You won't get S-video quality out of that; that converter is mainly for convenience.

I never seen one before, so I thought I would post it for a neat alternative. If someone gets one, post your thoughts.

Figuring that composite is Y/C combined, this passive little device will not be able to separate the two correctly once they are combined in the gaming system. Like stated before, it’s simply for convenience. As a matter of fact, I agree with the other statement, I imagine it will wash the color and picture quality a bit.

I used one for a little bit, just out of pure convenience. I used it with my Video System Selector. I didn't notice a difference. But I wasn't expecting a difference. I used it with my AES. Now I use an actual video Composite to S-Video Converter. Not that great either. I've seen one that Monster Cable makes, but it's $100. Too much for my taste. Those are my impressions. I wouldn't recomend if you think it's going to give you better video quality, becasue it won't. You can find them a electronic stores for $1 to $2. Mine was $.99. :kekeke:

The entire company is ridiculous. It's like they expect you to have 30 RF generators aimed straight at your TV at all times, so you NEED 7 layers of shielding and insulation on every cable. For God's sake, people. I'm surprised they don't make tin foil hats.
