Not only was this thing sad and ugly, but now its being resold at a higher price.
And its being touted as a supergun......
Its still the same old bunk trailer trash looking wall light switch mounted on a plank of wood 2-slot,which I thought Neoalec listed as having some tad problems on here somewhere on the stereo and headphone ports and crap  ....

I wonder how much the original buyer gave him. If I had known about it before I would have tried to take it off his hands for 200.

The timestamp on the pictures makes them look like they were taken in 1980. :conf:
Talk about shitty photos. The "Holy Grail"... :kekeke:

That doesn't look anything like the "old bunk trailer trash looking wall light switch mounted on a plank of wood 2-slot"

That's sad. Do you think anyone else is going to buy that hunk-a-junk? Especially for a higher price? Yeesh.

It's the same one, just read his history.

Of course we know $300+ is a bit overpriced for one of these but it's about on par for eBay. The $65 he tacked onto it is probably because he's added two games to the package (good games, I might add).

I wouldn't even really call it bunk. Sure, it's messy but it works. Why be so negative?

I agree, one could only call it bunk if it didn't work which it obviously does.

Overpriced?, I think so. However I see some really dumb neo-related things go for ridiculous sums on ebay (Kpj anyone?).

Neo Alec is cool, it's insane how he was able to sell that monstrosity. You have to be a pretty hardcore neo dork if you're buying vintage neo-geo mods, especially since there are way better MVS mods out there. Nostalgic? Ok maybe. But with that price tag, talk about exploiting nostalgia. The great thing is, he was able to sell it for a price close to what he wanted. :D

I think he was trying to mostly sell it on name recognition. There won't be any bids on this thing.

NeoAlec reported on here as the thing having problems with the audio jacks and crap, which he didnt list in the auction. Also I dont think this thing comes with arcade sticks.
About any given "GOOD" condition without worn out jacks 2-slot on ebay goes for 130-180 bucks U.S.
R2N with s-video jack $70.00 after shipping.
ATX power supply,$3-10 bucks.
2 City Boy 2 arcade sticks that can be modded, about $30 after shipping.
Blazing Star $25.00
Last Blade $10-20.00
2 game cords that fit NeoGeo ports,$10-17 depending on what your comp shop carries.
The ability to avoid a junky ugly ass "PLANK O WOOD" powered by wall outlet plugs and wall power switch,PRICELESS.
Doing some tad over estimating on the price list given above I come to a price tag of $360.00.
Thats 5 bucks short of his low bid price, and even before his shipping price, and also saves you the time and effort of stripping it off the wood and wall outlet "thing" its sitting on.That and you could get 2 arcade sticks, shit you dont even have to use City Boys ones, you can use about any Snes to Saturn/PSX micro switch based arcade stick that is easily modded.I do those all the time.
And for people like me,I keep half that crap already available to use at home for projects. That and if I really cared to pick up a 2-slot,I have a local vendor 5 mins away from my house who sells them for $100.00.I only use 1-slots though because I dont do consolizing, just superguns and its pointless for me to have 2 cart slots.I keep my neo packed away untill I use it.

It sold for 350$...

What killed me was the first time he posted it on ebay he advertised it ashighly collectible :kekeke: he didn't like it when I told him what I thought of it, but at least he made some $$$ off of it.

I sold it for like $250 or something. I don't know why they resold it though, they seemed satisfied with it. Must have been if they thought they could resell at a higher price. The problems you mentioned that I was having with it, Amakusa, were fixed, because I had replaced the board since. It was 100% when I sold it.

Again, I know it's junky by today's standards, but when I got it, it was the Cadillac. No one had a consolized system. You've got to respect it for being one of the first.
