I am looking for a Jamma Compatible Baseball game. Anyone have any recomendations? Jap or U.S., doesn't matter.

So far I have come across Sega's Clutch Hitter.

If you're too cheap to go naomi (which is jamma compatible via io board), Why not check out baseball stars 2 for the mvs? I actualy quite liked that one.

I already own the AES version. I was looking for something different.

Yeah it'd be expensive to play it as JAMMA, but it is a hell of a game if you are a baseball fan.

$150 kit w/ cart, art, and CP
$75 NAOMI 1 mobo
$150 CAPCOM JAMMA I/O

Prices fluctuate. NAOMI should have its own stock market. expect between $400 to $500 to play this game if you have non of the parts already.

Thats a little high for one game. :D

I would rahter dish out a little or alot more and get one of those dedicated Japanese Sega Baseball Cabs. But I guess that would only be in my dreams.

Atari made a baseball game called Relief Pitcher. It's not a MLB approved game. You can either play a full game or come in as a relief pitcher and play several games. The game was made in 1992 and the graphics are about the same as Pit-Fighter. Never played it myself but it looks decent.

Relief Pitcher: KLOV info

Yeah the only reason I would suggest it would be for the additional games that could be played by simply changing out a cart.

Virtua NBA if you like Basketball games is by far one of the best sports games ever released. Shmups, sports, etc... but yeah pricey...

I would really like to play WSB '99 so I didn't have to buy a gdrom system. It seems a Dynamite Baseball/WSB '99 cart kit is hard to find, you mostly only find the gdrom '01(?) version which is a pain in the ass to play.

Could it be that '99 had a dedicated cabinet here in the US?

Not too long ago I sold both a cart and GDROM version. Dynamite baseball as a lose cart and World Series 99 as a kit. They are floating arround. I think I got the Dynamite baseball from Bill Burger.
