Hi, Please can some one help with this problem.
I have a MVS Neo Geo 1 slot motherboard(very small,Black casing type) and when I put it in to my jamma cab and boot it up message appears saying the following info-

COLOR RAM BANKO ERROR
ADDRESS WRITE READ
00400000 5555 B255

What do this mean?
I have tryed diffrent mvs carts but it still saying the same thing so it is not the games.
I can not go into any kind of bios setting with the dip switch.
I am a novice out this sort of thing and would not have a clue what to do.
I can send photos of the board if that would help.
Please Help.
Thanks,Luton

Looks like there is a faulty RAM chip or maybe one of its pins has lifted stopping it from working.

Sell it and buy a new one. That's better then letting repair it.

Sounds like one of the 62256 chips is bad or the connection to it is bad...

If you don't want to fix it yourself, PM me if you want to sell it.

The color ram is not a 62256, it's a couple of 5864 located on a MV-1 just behind the controller ports. If you think it's worth it I offer to repair it for a small fee.
